Pricing Guidance

Pricing for CPSRs depends on the number and complexity of ingredients in your formulation (there is no VAT to pay).

Typical prices:

Oil-based products: from £90 for single ingredient
Saponified soaps: from £125
Water-containing products with preservative system: from £155
Perfumes (EdP/EdT etc): from £60 each for multiples

For multiple products there is a discount, depending on how similar the products are.

A CPSR for a range of soaps, bath bombs etc: each variant is £10-30 dependent on number and type of ingredients. It depends on the actual formulation so I can give you a final quote after submission of the recipe(s). I will also give you advice on any legal limits and any potential changes to recipes that may be required.

This price includes:

  • CPSR
  • Any changes / updates required in order to ensure the product is compliant
  • Percentage calculation (if required)
  • PIF guidance
  • Label guidance
  • Guidance on notification to the portal (EU and / or UK)
  • Good Manufacturing Practice guidance
  • Correct INCI names to be used on the ingredient label
  • Required allergen listing for the label

For an additional fee the following can be provided:

  • CAS/EINECS table (£15 per CPSR)
  • ingredient listing for the label with the correct INCI names in the correct order (including allergens) (£25 per product)

As a guide, the average spend for the first set of reports is £250; this was within the range £105 to £1400.  The total price depended on the number of different products in the set, and the number of variants for each product set.
